RETURN /EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICY


Before you return a Salaam Namaste product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. Most of our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons and are not machine made resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from the other. The stones therefore may vary slightly. All our products go through quality control before shipping.

Returns & Exchanges will ONLY be accepted if your order is damaged in transit or you have received the incorrect product. In case your order is damaged in transit or you have received the wrong product you may return them in exactly the way in which they were received (unworn, with original packaging).

Exchange possible only if-

1. Customer received product in damage condition should be informed to us with a pictures within 48hrs

2. If not found same in Images.

3. Customers can send their products back at below address in original packaging and with invoice.

The return of payment will only be done after we received the package.

 No exchange possible-

1. If Customer has used the product and then tried to send back with complaint that they didnt like the product.

2. We are not liable for any returns that we were not notified about within 3 business days of product receipt.

3. Incorrect or outdated delivery address.

4. Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.

5. After 3 failed delivery attempts by our respective courier agent.

6. Package refused by recipient.

7. Sizing issues. Thus please review our size guides carefully before making your purchase.

8. Products returned in a used or damaged condition.

9. Minor colour and design variation. All products are handmade and use natural stones, so there may be some variation from the photographs on our website.

10. If the jewellery is not faulty or damaged.

11. The customer needs to intimate us within 3 days of receipt of goods at his/her end.

12. In case a Made to Order request is placed and the customer cancels the order subsequently, 25% of the product cost will be deducted and the balance will be refunded to the customer.


STEPS TO MAKING EXCHANGE

1. Please inform us within 48 hrs of receipt of order. You must email Service.salaamnamaste@gmail.com to notify us.

2. Before we arrange for your damaged/incorrect product to be returned to us, you are required to send us a photograph of the product. Then it is up to the discretion of the Salaam Namaste QC team to decide whether the product is approved for return.

3. Products can be returned within 14 days from the time of receipt of goods at customer’s end, only if goods are found in damaged or defective condition. No exchange is allowed in other cases. The customer needs to intimate us within 3 days of receipt of goods at their end for exchange

4. Once we have received your email and our Quality Control team has authorized the return, Customer has to send back the package themselve at their cost. Are you curious about where your return package is in the meantime? With the Track & Trace code you received from the post office you can view the current status of your return

5. Salaam Namaste will replace the items free of charge if possible or issue a refund for the cost of goods to the credit/debit card used for online shopping. We will refund the purchase price of the jewellery . Refunds will only be made after we have received the shipment in its original packaging.

6. Add the packing slip to your products in the original packaging. Have the package franked and sent. Keep the receipt well, it contains the track & trace code with which you can track the package and see whether it has arrived in good order. Write your order number on the label at the return address and always send your packing slip, otherwise we cannot process the return package.

7. This is the only way we take back items: - Put the items neatly back in the packaging undamaged and unworn. We appreciate it when we get the items back in the same way as you received them. This means with all tickets attached and neatly packaged in the original packaging. - We cannot take back the items if we suspect that the items have been worn more often than during fitting.

8. The costs for sending your return package to Salaam Namaste are for your own account. – Salaam Namaste not liable for loss or damage of a return.

We therefore advise you to send your return package by registered mail. - When we have received and processed the return package and the returned items in good order, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. We strive to process your return within 3-5 working days after receipt. After this, we will refund the refund amount to your account as soon as possible. The aim is a refund within 7 working days after processing your return. In any case, repayment will take place within the statutory period of 30 days.

9. If Salaam Namaste recived the product in damage condition or torn condition some pecentage of the refund cost will be deducted depending on the condition of product recived.


RETURN CONDITIONS

1.You can cancel and return your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.

  2.If you return the entire order, any shipping costs will also be refunded.  

3.The costs for sending your return package to Salaam Namastee are for your own account.
